Welcome to Evermore — your digital wedding companion that connects couples, guests, and vendors through elegant and joyful experiences. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application (“App”) and related services.

a. Personal Information (Provided by You)

• Name – to personalize your experience and display it to invited users.
• Email / Phone number – used for authentication, notifications, and support.
• Wedding Details – names, dates, locations, and other event information you choose to share.
• Guest Information – guest names and RSVP responses (if applicable).
• Uploaded Media – photos, videos, and text messages shared by couples and guests.

b. Automatically Collected Information

We collect device and usage data automatically, including:

• Device data (model, OS version, app version, unique identifiers).
• Usage data such as screen interactions and app performance metrics (via Firebase Analytics).
• Crash logs and diagnostics (via Firebase Crashlytics).

c. Location Data

When you use map or navigation features, approximate location data may be used to show directions. We do not store your location history unless you explicitly allow a feature that requires it.

• Allow couples to manage their events and guests to interact meaningfully.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share data only in these cases:

• Firebase Services — Firestore, Authentication, Storage, Analytics (to operate the App).
• Google Maps API — to enable venue navigation features.
• Legal Requirements — if required by law or to protect our users’ safety.

All data transfers comply with Google’s and Firebase’s security and encryption standards.

4. User-Generated Content

Photos, videos, and comments you upload may be visible to guests invited to the same wedding event and to the couple who manages the event. We encourage respectful sharing and advise you not to upload sensitive personal data.

5. Data Security

We use standard industry measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS / TLS)
• Firebase Authentication security rules
• Access control by user role (couple, guest, admin)

While we take reasonable measures to safeguard data, no system is 100% secure. Please use discretion when sharing media.

You have the right to:

• Access or update your profile information.
• Delete uploaded content you own.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.

7. Children’s Privacy

Evermore is designed for adult users (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted promptly.

8. Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When you delete your account, related personal information and media are permanently deleted from our databases, except where retention is required by law.
